You can never truly get lost on the Island, but you can sure have fun trying. Let your inner GPS guide you to the far corners of the eastern region in search of the most secluded beach, the best fish ‘n’ chips, the most scenic country road and the best family-friendly campground.

Find your own version of heaven along the Points East Coastal Drive, whether it’s on an oceanfront golf course, a near-empty beach, wandering through rows of grapevines in a vineyard or eating a picnic lunch at the base of lighthouse.

Gorgeous coastal drive on Prince Edward Island.

Central Coastal Drive

The Central Coast Drive is the quintessential Prince Edward Island experience.  From the red sandstone cliffs on the south shore, to the picture-perfect sand dunes on the north shore, to a certain red-headed lass who resides in Green Gables, this coastal drive encompasses all of the features that make Prince Edward Island Canada’s favourite vacation destination.

Spend an idyllic summer afternoon lounging on one of the famous beaches located within the national park system where you can swim in the warmest waters north of the Carolinas. Couples will love playing world-class golf courses and dining at romantic restaurants, while families will thrill the little ones with rollercoasters, waterslides and movies under the stars.

On the Central Coast Drive you’ll experience all the things that drew you to PEI and make the memories that will keep you coming back.

Beautiful and scenic Prince Edward Island drive.

North Cape Coastal Drive

Explore the northwestern region of Prince Edward Island and experience the balance of small town charm and world-class fare that led to it being dubbed the Canadian Oyster Coast.

Tight-knit communities dot the coastline, where generations of families have been making a livelihood off the rich land and bountiful sea. Rural, rustic and a little rowdy, it is the perfect destination for those who like to veer off the beaten path and experience the Island the way Islanders know it.

The North Cape Coastal Drive connects a patchwork of communities with strong cultural roots. Learn the ancient art of basket weaving, take in a performance of the Highland Storm for the best in Celtic music and dance, attend a raucous kitchen party, or experience the Acadian’s joie de vivre while stepdancing to traditional fiddle music.
